  • What You’ll Need

    • Freshly roasted Render House Espresso

    • Espresso machine

    • Tamper

    • Espresso grinder

    • Scale

    • Timer

    • Mug

  1. Remove and empty portafilter, wiping out any remaining grinds.

  2. Rince the grouphead.

  3. Place the portafilter on the scale and clear.

  4. Add 18g of coffee ground for espresso to portafilter and even our the coffee bed

  5. Tamp the coffee bed evenly on a flat surface making sure to ensure a level tamping

  6. Put scale on drip tray and tare your cup

  7. Insert portafilter into the grouphead and brew immediately, measure the beverage weight and stop at a yield of 36g. (Note: Aim for shots to run between 25–30 seconds.)

  8. Knock out used puck.

  9. Flush and rinse the grouphead.

  10. Enjoy!
