French Press

  • What you need: 

    • French press

    • spoon or stirrer

    • Kettle

    • scale(optional) 

    • water (200*)

    • coarsely ground Render coffee

  • Guide:

    • Grind: Coarse

    • Brew Time: 4 minutes

    • Water Temperature: 200*F/ 94*C

    • Water to Coffee Ratio: 1 : 15

    • Recipe for 2 cups: 33g: 500 g/ml

    • Recipe for 4 cups: 65g: 1L

  1. Preheat your French Press with hot water. Wait 30-60 seconds and empty

  2. With coarse ground coffee (either done by a Render associate or yourself), weigh and measure according to the desired serving.

  3. Place French Press on a scale, add coffee and clear the scale.

  4. Once water has boiled, remove from heat for 30 seconds. Pour over coffee according to serving size ratio. (see above)

  5. Wait 4 minutes while coffee extracts.

  6. Stir gently.

  7. Slowly and gently push the plunger down.

  8. Pour and enjoy!
